What is Faith Promise?
Faith Promise is an adventure!
FAITH PROMISE is one of the most meaningful methods for supporting missions. It is not a pledge. A Faith Promise is exactly what is says — a promise made in faith between an individual and God. That promise is based on what the giver believes God wants him or her to give to ministries beyond those of the local church.
Faith Promise is not new. For decades, hundreds of thousands of Christians have been involved in Faith Promise. Exciting stories abound of persons who have seen God provide their funds for Faith Promise in unexpected and seemingly miraculous ways. Giving through Faith Promise is an adventure and an opportunity to allow God to show how He can provide when we open our hearts and our pocketbooks to do generous things for His Kingdom.
“Faith Promise Sunday was approaching at our church. My wife and I had been talking about the amount we would like to give. She was thinking of giving more than I had planned. On the Sunday morning of Faith Promise, we prayed together, and I told her I thought God wanted us to give the greater amount even though I believed it was more than we could afford on our budget.
I can’t tell you how much our trust in God was multiplied when, in less than two weeks from the day of our pledge, we received an unexpected check for the exact amount we had committed to Faith Promise. It confirmed for me that God will provide for His work, if we trust and are open to His leadership. What an exciting way to live!”

Most persons arrive at their Faith Promise amount following time in prayer and Bible study. By listening to the voice of God, we learn what the Holy Spirit wants to do through us to support the mission ministries of our church.
