Involvement in a Home Group is one of the steps to spiritual maturity through experiencing personal belonging where you can meet together regularly with others for encouragement as you grow in your relationship with God. It's a safe place to ask questions, build friendships, and experience mutual care and support.
Home Groups connect you with others who help you honestly reflect who and where you are as a follower of Christ. "The development of meaningful relationships where every member carries a significant sense of belonging is central to what it means to be the church."
Home groups at Findlay First are based on the 7 Biblical functions of S.E.R.V.I.C.E.
Home Groups meet Sunday evenings at 6 pm. Today in our ever changing culture, it is crucial to have a place where you can connect. The purpose of Small Groups is to bring you to a deeper relationship with God and others and a deeper prayer life. Lay pastor's will help you dig deeper into God's Word. The mission of the Home Group at Findlay First is to provide an environment where people can connect with others and experience real life transformation through authentic community. If you would like to attend a small group, please email the church office of your interest.
Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (Matthew 18:20, NRSV).
Lives are formed and transformed in small groups when people meet together to pray, to study, to engage in fellowship, or to work on a specific task.
Christian family or fellowship groups, are indispensable for our growth into spiritual maturity.
