A Commitment to Relevant Bible Teaching We believe that a commitment to teaching God's Word is an essential part in transforming the life of the believer and the church. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Timothy 4:2)
A Commitment to Godly Leadership We believe that the key to successfully fulfilling God's mission for our church is having staff and lay leaders who are committed to integrity and holiness. (1Timothy 3: Titus 1)
A Commitment to Holiness We believe that holiness of heart and life is the highest calling of the Lord on our lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit enables us to live lives pleasing to the Lord; both by the transformation that He makes in our lives and by our seeking to honor the Lord in everything we say and do. (Romans 6:19; Hebrews 10:22-24; 1Thessalonians 5:23-24)
A Commitment to Worship We believe that inspiring worship is an essential part of the Christian experience and a powerful dynamic in drawing a seeker into a relationship with God. Worship should comprise a lifestyle expressed with private consistency and corporate vibrancy. (Psalm 29; 95)
A Commitment to Prayer We believe that prayer is an essential ingredient for creating a healthy church. Thus, we intend to have every ministry and activity characterized by a dependence on God and to provide opportunities for believers to grow in their prayer life. (John 15:7; Acts 1:14)
A Commitment to Connecting We believe that God desires His church to experience community. Thus, we intend to provide opportunities for people to know and to be known, to love and to be loved, to care and to be cared for, to serve and to be served so that everyone might experience the power of true friendship. Life change happens best in small groups because belonging encourages authenticity. (Acts. 2:42)
A Commitment to Christian Maturity The Good news is that God accepts us as we are but the great news is that He Doesn’t leave us that way. We believe it is essential to continue to grow in your relationship to God. (Ephesians 4:11-15; Hebrews 6:1-3)
A Commitment to Cultural Relevance We Believe our task is to present the Gospel in a way that is relevant and meaningful to people’s lives today without compromising Biblical and personal purity.1 Corinthians 10:23; Ephesians 3:8-9; 1 Corinthians 9:22-23)
A Commitment to Evangelism Lost people matter to God, thus they ought to matter to the Church. We believe a church is as strong as its sending power. We support Missions locally and worldwide by giving of our resources and providing opportunities for our people to serve. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
A Commitment to the Family We believe in the family and want to do all we can to strengthen the bonds of love not only in the family of God but in our homes. We purposefully create opportunities for our surrounding community to join our family in events that promote strong family values and lasting relationships. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
